HOUSTON, TX – A man was found dead in the outer lanes of a northwest Houston road early this morning, the Houston Chronicle reports. A witness’s testimony suggests the man may have been the victim of a hit-and-run collision.
Police arrived at the scene in the 16900 block of West Little York Road at around 3:30 a.m., after receiving reports of the dead body. A witness told them that she had noticed the man stumbling in the roadway from her window and had gone to tell her husband when she heard a loud noise. When she looked again, she saw the man lying prostrate in the roadway as a vehicle drove away from the scene.
Police are investigating to determine if the vehicle was involved in the crash. We will update this blog should more information when they announce their findings.
