Truck Crashes into River Oaks Storefront in Houston

(HOUSTON, November 2019) – The driver of a truck that crashed into a storefront in the River Oaks Shopping Center was transported to the hospital for treatment on Wednesday. According to witnesses, the truck struck another vehicle (also a pickup truck) and attempted to make a sudden U-turn, which sent the vehicle careening into the Kartell store on West Gray Street near Shepherd Drive. The truck crashed into a fire hydrant and then the front of the store and ended up on its side.

Authorities are still investigating the cause of the first crash and have not released an official statement at this time. You can follow this developing story here on our accident blog, or view the continuing coverage on KHOU.
