Houston police investigating crash that killed man last week

The Houston Police Department is still investigating the cause of the crash that led to the death of a 30-year-old man last week, according to reports from The Leader News

Area man Fredy Ajcuc was identified by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences shortly after his death. He had been driving a black Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck on the 1100 block of the North Loop West Freeway near Shady Acres when he appears to have lost control of his vehicle. He veered out of his lane before hitting a pole, a guard rail, and then a street sign.

According to Houston police, the victim was transported to Memorial Hermann Northwest Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
