HOUSTON, TX – A child was injured after being thrown from a car during a wreck on Aldine Bender on Tuesday night, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
A truck and car reportedly collided at 5008 Aldine Bender around 8:45 p.m. A child was thrown from one of the vehicles but no one was seriously hurt.

HOUSTON, TX – The parents of a 10-year-old boy killed by a vehicle in early Septembrer donated his organs to others, ABC 13 reports.
10-year-old Victor Peterzen was riding his bicycle on Moorberry Lane and Knoback when he was hit by a passing Jeep. His bike became wedged underneath the vehicle and he was rushed to the hospital in critical condition. The wreck occurred on September 1st.
The boy was brain dead after the incident. After waiting a few days, his parents decided to let him go. The driver of the Jeep, a 43-year-old woman, was determined not to be intoxicated at the time of the incident was released by police. The case will be referred to a grand jury.

HOUSTON, TX – A Good Samaritan rescued a man from a floating vehicle near Keegans Bayou on Monday night, according to ABC 13.
The front part of the man’s vehicle was completely submerged in water near the bayou. Jaime Garcia, a pastor at Bethel Baptist Church, rescued the man from his vehicle.

HOUSTON, TX – A pedestrian tragically died in a wreck on the South Sam Houston Parkway on the morning of Saturday, September 19, the Houston Police Department reports.
An unidentified woman was walking westbound in the parkway’s center lane when a green Chevrolet Tahoe attempted to swerve out of the way to avoid hitting the victim. The Tahoe, unfortunately, ended up hitting the victim. She was declared dead at the scene.

HOUSTON, TX – A SUV driver crashed into his own home’s yard during a police chase on the night of Friday, September 18, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
The chase began around 7:15 p.m. when the driver of the SUV refused to stop for police. He eventually crashed in his front own front yard at Dell Dale and Knobloch. The suspect was taken into custody by authorities and was not seriously hurt.

HOUSTON, TX – A suspect shot at police before colliding with six vehicles in Houston on Saturday night, according to FOX 7 Austin.
Humble Police officers were alerted about a suspicious vehicle and attempted to pull over the driver. Instead of stopping, the driver fled from authorities and sped onto the Southwest Freeway. Eventually, the suspect fired three shots at a patrol car at Wesleyan and 59.
After shooting, the driver continued on, slamming into six vehicles at Creekbend. He then attempted to flee the scene on foot but was caught and arrested by officers. No one involved in the accident was seriously hurt.

HOUSTON, TX – A driver fleeing police killed two women after crashing into a rideshare vehicle on late Saturday night, KHOU 11 reports.
Harris County deputies reportedly attempted to stop the suspect for running a red light, but they would not pull over, instead speeding off and crashing into a rideshare vehicle at 10200 Jensen Drive. Two women who were passengers in the rideshare car were killed upon impact, while the driver of the car and the suspect are expected to survive their injuries.
The chase lasted around a minute, authorities say.
