Police issue citations to pedestrians and driver in pedestrian-auto crash in Garden Oaks

(HOUSTON, December 2019) – Authorities in the Garden Oaks neighborhood of Houston, Texas, issued citations to several parties involved in a pedestrian-auto accident that happened shortly before 4:30 p.m. on Monday. 

Police spokesperson Victor Senties said the pedestrians were issued citations for failing to use a crosswalk and to yield the right of way to the vehicle, according to The Leader News. The driver was issued a citation for driving without a license.

The accident occurred at the 4100 Block of North Shepherd Drive near West Crosstimbers Road. Authorities were notified, and the pedestrians were taken to Memorial Hermann Northwest Hospital for treatment of non-serious injuries.
