HOUSTON, TX – Drivers are being advised of road work that will impact traffic around the Galleria area this weekend, KTRK reports.
The construction work is being done on the connector ramps at the interchange for I-610 and US-59. That will result in the closure of the US-59 southbound ramp to the I-610 West Loop southbound. The area will be shut down each night from Friday to Monday, as will the West Loop Feeder road.
Officials are recommending that drivers take Richmond Avenue to South Rice Avenue as an alternate route.
