(HOUSTON, November 2019) The Harris County Sheriff’s Office reported that a woman was found dead in Southwest Harris County along Highway 6 early this morning. The deceased was believed to be the victim of a hit-and-run pedestrian-auto collision.
The woman’s body was found shortly after 5:30 a.m. in the 8300 block of Highway 6 near Beechnut Street. The driver has not been located at this time, according to Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez.
The northbound lanes of Highway 6 have been closed as investigators work at the crash scene. No description of the suspect has been released at this time.
