Fatal shooting leads to car crash

HOUSTON, TX- A 15-year-old was shot and killed Tuesday afternoon after a serious car crash.

The 15-year-old and his 18-year-old brother were involved in a shooting on Teague Road near Emnora Lane. They were waiting for a friend to come to their car when two gunmen approached and opened fire. Both brothers were shot. When the older brother attempted to drive away, he smashed into the back of a car on Shadowdale. The gunmen have not yet been identified.

BREAKING: Police Investigating Fatal Car Accident at 3100 North Freeway

(HOUSTON, December 2o19) — A man was hit and killed by an oncoming vehicle while attempting to cross North Interstate Highway 45 around 12:45 AM on Thursday morning. Unfortunately, the car fled the scene after the accident. The identity of both the victim and the driver is yet to be determined. UPDATE: Driver Accused of DWI in Deadly Gulf Freeway Crash Out on $100 Bond

(HOUSTON, November 2019) – A Houston man, identified as 27-year-old Lupe Longoria, was released today on a $100 bond after being charged with driving while intoxicated and causing a deadly crash on the Gulf Freeway. The Houston car accident attorneys of the Mokaram Law Firm previously reported on this deadly collision that occurred on Saturday morning.

According to authorities, Longoria was speeding and lost control of his vehicle, striking two men who were exchanging information after a minor fender bender on the side of the road. The force of the impact threw one of the men into the HOV lane. One of the victims died at the scene, while the other was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital, but he later succumbed to his injuries as well.

Longoria was arrested and charged, and received a $100 bond, according to court documents and ABC13 in Houston. Our team will continue to follow this developing story, and our thoughts go out to the families of the victims in this tragic accident.

Truck-Motorcycle Collision Leaves One Dead in Northeast Houston

(November 2019) – A collision involving a motorcycle and a truck left one person dead on Tuesday afternoon in Northeast Houston. The collision occurred in the 11200 block of East FM 1960, and caused significant traffic delays for a few hours. According to investigators, one of the drivers involved may have been intoxicated at the time of the crash, although they did not specify whether the intoxicated driver was riding the motorcycle or driving the truck. The Harris County District Attorney’s Office released a statement on Twitter saying that intoxication manslaughter charges are pending.

Houston Police Are Investigating a Fatal Crash Involving a Pedestrian at 200 East 43rd Street

(November 2019) – Houston police are still investigating a fatal pedestrian accident that occurred on at 200 East 43rd Street on Friday. Authorities say the collision occurred during the 6:00 p.m. rush hour, when the victim, a 54-year-old female, was hit while crossing the intersection at North Main Street. The driver was traveling eastbound on 43rd in a white dually pickup when he ran a stop sign and hit the pedestrian. The driver fled the scene, and the victim was transported to Memorial Hermann Greater Heights Hospital where she was later pronounced dead.
