HOUSTON, TX – A driver crashed into an IHOP during a police chase on early Friday morning, according to ABC 13.
The driver reportedly shouted derogatory statements at police before officers began pursuing the suspect. He then crashed into an IHOP on Washington Avenue near the Katy Freeway around 2:15 a.m.
Employees and customers were inside the restaurant at the time of the accident but luckily, no one was hurt. The driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated.
