Driver struck by train in east Houston

(HOUSTON, December 2019) — A Houston man was driving over the train tracks at Jacinto Port Boulevard near Talcott Street when his car was struck by a train early Wednesday morning. The train was backing up and eventually hit the man’s car, sending it back almost 40 feet and causing it to burst into flames. The man was able to flee the scene and make it to the hospital with only minor injuries.

Houston man killed in auto yard collision

(HOUSTON, December 2o19) — Around 5:30 PM on Tuesday night, a passing vehicle struck the car two Houston men were attempting to repair at 320 West Canino Road. According to Sheriff Ed Gonzales, the crash seems to be accidental. One of the men working on the hit vehicle was killed while the other was transported to the hospital and is in critical condition. The investigation into the fatal crash is still ongoing.

Police Officer Rushed to Hospital after Collision in Pasadena

(PASADENA, December 2019) — While on the way to a call at Bayshore Hospital, a Pasadena police officer was struck at the intersection of Spencer Highway and Watters Road on Monday night. According to authorities, the driver of the other vehicle ran a red light before slamming into the officer’s patrol vehicle. After being hit, the patrol vehicle slammed into a utility pole and then hit another car.

The officer was immediately transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital where he is expected to undergo surgery for a broken arm on Tuesday, according to Click2Houston. The identity of the officer is still unknown, but he is a two year veteran of the Pasadena Police Department according to Pasadena Police Chief Josh Bruegger. The investigation into the crash is still ongoing.

Woman Killed in Two-Vehicle Collision on Katy Freeway

(KATY, December 2019) — A woman was killed early Sunday morning in a two-vehicle crash on Katy Freeway near I-610. A Lexus carrying a driver and two passengers was rear-ended by a Chevy Impala. Following the accident, a sixty-eight-year-old woman was rushed to the hospital following the crash and died of her injuries later that day. Others involved in the crash sustained only minor injuries.

One Dead in Wreck on Crosby Lynchburg Road

Fatal Car Crash at Tidwell Road

(HOUSTON, December 2019) — Authorities are investigating a fatal auto-pedestrian accident that occurred at 3200 Tidwell Road in Houston. The collision occurred around 5:50 AM on Wednesday, and the driver of the car reportedly fled the scene. The victim, a 62-year-old male, was crossing the road near the intersection at Edell Street when he was struck by a red Lincoln. The pedestrian was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
