Woman killed after crashing into bridge pillar on South Main

HOUSTON, TX – A woman was tragically killed after her car crashed into a pillar on South Main Street on Saturday morning, ABC 13 reports.

The victim was driving her Dodge Challenger on Stella Link Road when she approached the South Main interchange and was unable to make the turn in time. Her vehicle then slammed into a South Main Street bridge support. She was killed upon impact.

Investigators are still looking into the crash, but believe the victim was not familiar with the area.
