One injured in pedestrian accident in Richmond

RICHMOND, TX – A pedestrian was injured in an accident in Fort Bend County overnight on Saturday, June 27, KHOU 11 reports.

The outlet reports that the victim was walking on the northbound lanes near 7000 Grand Parkway when he was hit by a passing vehicle. He was airlifted to a nearby hospital but is expected to survive his injuries.

The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities. She is not believed to have been intoxicated at the time of the crash.
