HOUSTON, TX – A mother and her teenage daughter were both injured in a DWI accident on E. Sam Houston Parkway N. on Monday morning, according to the team at the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.

The single-vehicle accident occurred at a feeder road located at 9300 East Sam Houston Parkway North around 9:51 a.m. The mother and her daughter were rushed to the hospital via LifeFlight. Fortunately, both are expected to survive.
The office reports that the mother showed signs of drug impairment following the incident. An investigation into the wreck remains open.
