CROSBY, TX – The Harris County Sheriff’s Office responded to a possible drunk driving accident on Foley Road on Thursday evening.

The driver left the roadway and crashed into a ditch and mailbox around 8:03 p.m. that evening. The driver was not seriously hurt in the accident but was tested for a DWI. It is not known if they were arrested.

Exit ramp closed on IH-10 Katy after collision

HOUSTON, TX – The exit ramp on IH-10 Katy was closed after a collision on Thursday afternoon, the team at Houston TranStar reports.

UPDATE: Police identify suspect that ran over 83-year-old man in west Houston

HOUSTON, TX – Police have identified the suspect that ran over an 83-year-old man in west Houston on June 28, KHOU 11 reports.

Authorities say 30-year-old David Cornell Brown punched an 83-year-old man smoking a cigarette outside the Valero gas station at 12200 Beechnut. The suspect then got inside the victim’s vehicle, which was running, and attempted to drive off, running over the victim in the process.

Woman rescued from Mustang after car accident near Katy

KATY, TX – A woman was rescued from her Mustang after a car accident near Katy on the evening of Tuesday, August 11, KHOU 11 reports.

A driver ran a red light on Mason at Katy Briar, causing the Mustang and a pickup truck to crash into one another. The roof of the Mustang was cut off to rescue the woman inside, and she was taken to the hospital via Life Flight. Authorities expect her to survive her injuries.

Man killed in collision with tow truck on Beltway 8

Woman dies from injuries sustained in crash on West Montgomery Road

HOUSTON, TX – A woman died from injuries sustained in a crash on West Montgomery Road in late July, according to a press release just issued by the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.

On July 25, Leslie Lagunas was traveling near 4800 Breen Drive when she and Cruz Perez collided with one another, close to the road’s intersection with West Montgomery Road. Young boy killed in west Houston hit-and-run

HOUSTON, TX – A young boy was killed in a west Houston hit-and-run on Sunday morning, FOX 26 reports.
