14-year-old killed in deadly police chase collision in northwest Houston
HOUSTON, TX – A 14-year-old boy was killed in a deadly police chase collision in northwest Houston on Tuesday morning, KHOU 11 reports.
Officers reportedly ran the plate on the vehicle the boy was driving and discovered the car was stolen. When authorities attempted to pull the vehicle over, the driver sped off on Hollister from US 290.
During the chase, the suspect suddenly veered off the road and crashed into a nearby culvert behind a restaurant. The boy was killed upon impact, while two passengers in the car—a 16-year-old and 19-year-old girl—were taken to the hospital with significant injuries.
