Pedestrian killed in wreck in northeast Harris County

HOUSTON, TX – A pedestrian was killed while attempting to move a tarp off the road in northeast Harris County on Sunday night, according to the Houston Chronicle.

The man was reportedly pushing a shopping cart near the 4200 block of Langley Road when he went into the roadway to grab a tarp off the road. He was then hit by a Chevrolet Colorado which then crashed into a nearby ditch.

The unidentified pedestrian was killed upon impact. The driver of the Chevrolet has not been charged.
